Saber: Hahahaha... You're going to make me wish I were dead, huh? Well, bring it on!

Calico jumps at Saber and viciously swipes at his face. He misses as Saber dodges each of the attacks. They are both moving at incredible speeds and are very hard to follow with normal eyesight.

Raket: C'mon Cal! You can do it!

Knuckles: No... But he can buy us some time. We're gonna need all the help we can get, so the Chaotix and I will go get Sonic and his friends.

Shadow: What good can Sonic and Robotnik do?

Knuckles: The prophecies say that the only thing that can seal Dark for good are those angels. I think Sonic's one... And you, Shadow, are the other.

Shadow: Angels.......?

The Chaotix leave the caves. Metal Sonic begins to leave, too.

Sonia: And where are you going?

Metal: I have a few friends who can help us out as well. So if you'll excuse me.

Metal Sonic flies off behind Knuckles. The rest watch Calico fight Saber

Saber: Hahahahahahaha! C'mon boy! Do you honestly think that you're a match for me?

Saber lifts his leg and kicks Calico in the stomach. Calico clutches his stomach and stops.

Saber: See? Hahahahahahaha! If you can't even stop me.... Then there is no way that you can beat Dark.

Calico stands up and looks at Saber. He attacks again.

Saber: WHAT!?

Zip looks in awe.

Zip: That didn't even hurt him...

Manic: At this rate, we won't need Sonic and his friends.

Zip: Damn... if I only my Chaos Emerald.

Shadow: Hmm?

Zip: If I had one, I could use the Chaos Seal and end this mess once and for all.

Raket: Chaos Seal?

Zip: Yes... the technique that the heroes of old used to put Dark away before.

Shadow: I've never heard of that move.

Zip: I can't say I'm suprised. Hmm... This energy that Saber used to keep us from them. It's Chaos Energy. A Chaos Emerald can go through it.

Raket: Or someone with Chaos Energy inside them?

Zip: Right, but without.... wait! The mark on your forehead. That's the mark of Chaos! The same mark as one of the ancient heroes.

Raket: Meaning?

Zip: That you have Chaos Energy flowing through you! Focus your energy on Saber's wall, and you may be able to make a hole to get us through it!

Raket walks up to the wall and puts a hand up on it. Then he begins to focus his energy into the wall. His body engulfs itself in blue fire and flies into the wall. Saber's energy wall disappears as Raket's power courses through it.
Saber, while trying to keep Calico away, sees what Raket has done and begins to become angry.

Saber: NO!

Zip runs to the tomb and jumps to grab one of the Chaos Emeralds. Saber blasts Calico off of him and shoots a beam of energy into Zip. Zip falls to the ground and Calico looks at him. Calico's anger fades and he bgins to regain control of himself. He runs over to check on his brother.

Zip: Ow... th-that really hurt...

He looks down to see a hole in his side. He smiles a painful smile.

Zip: Heh... so this is it, huh? Who... would of thought?

Calico begins to become teary-eyed as he watches his older brother fade away.

Calico: Zip! No! You... can't die! Not here!

Zip: Calico........ I'm very proud of you. You've grown up a lot. I know... that somewhere... our father is watching you... and he's very happy of what you've become.

Calico: You can't.... You can't die!

Zip: I'm gonna be with him... watching you... And I want you to promise me something.......

Calico: What?

Zip: Do not... let Dark....... come back............. no matter what. I love you... little bro...........

They all look at Zip and they all realize that he's nearly gone. Calico begins to cry.

Shadow: He's not dead yet... But there's nothing that we can do now....

Sonia: No........ Zip.....

Calico: No.... No.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Calico gets up and glares at Saber.

Saber: What? You've lost a brother and now you're feeling lonely? I didn't hit him hard enough to kill him. He's gonna suffer for a few more hours at least.... But don't worry, I'll make sure the that you join him... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Calico starts to charge at Saber, but is stopped by Raket.

Raket: THAT'S ENOUGH!

Saber looks at the hedgehog and sees an emerald in his hand.

Raket: SABER! WITH THIS EMERALD..... I WILL SEAL YOU AWAY! FOR GOOD!

Saber: And how do you plan on doing that?

Raket smiles and holds up the emerald.

Raket: Like this......................

Raket begins to focus the emerald's energy into his body. His quills begin to fly up. Rings from all directions begin to fly into the emerald.

Raket: Fifty..... Sixty...... Seventy...... Eighty..... Ninety....................... One Hundred!

Saber: What's.... going on?

Raket's eyes turn red.

Sonia: What's happening to him.

Shadow: He's turning.... Super!

Rouge: With just one emerald?

Omega: THE MARK ON HIS HEAD FILLS HIS BODY WITH CHAOS ENERGY. MAYBE ALL HE NEEDS IS JUST ONE EMERALD.

Manic: Whoa.... cool....

Raket: IT'S OVER! SABER! I WILL NOT LET YOU RELEASE DARK!

Raket disappears in a ball of energy. Saber watches as he realizes what's going on.

Saber: This looks..... very familiar.

Raket reappears with golden fur, red eyes, and energy around him. He stares at Saber angrily. Saber looks on in shock and horror. Raket looks back at Zip.

Raket: Don't die, Zip. Stay with us.

Raket turns back around to look at Saber. Saber takes a step back and continues to stare at Raket.

Saber: Those..... Those eyes..... He has the s-same eyes......

Raket: Prepare yourself, Saber. Because I can't control what I do while I'm like this.
